On behalf of Tissot, Zimson congratulates their brand ambassador, the very gorgeous Deepika Padukone for a beautiful wedded life. Surrounded by close friends and family, the Bollywood star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh exchanged wedding vows in the midst of lush green Alps, snow-peaked mountains and sparkling blue water, Lake Como in Italy on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon
The first two ceremonies were performed completely in authentic Konkani Brahmin style. The guests from the bride’s side including the Italian servers wore the Manglorian traditional clothing, a place where Deepika’s family comes from.
On her first big day Deepika decided to opt for a Sabyasachi Mukherjee creation: a traditional red and gold sari, Konkani attire. Ranveer slayed the traditional mundu. The wedding ceremony began by Deepika walking down towards the Mandap along besides her cousins, as live performance of classical singer Shubha Mudgal was creating magic in the air.
The 4 hour wedding ceremony was lively and jovial, as the priest, flown down from Mangalore explained all the rituals and kept the guests engaged and mesmerized.
The Italian servers were not just dressed in the traditional outfit but were also taught about the dishes, not making them go wrong with the pronunciation of the names. The ingredients including traditional filter coffee were flown from Mangalore.
Throughout the wedding ceremony, the traditions were reverberated. The sit-down lunch was hosted by the bride’s side, a Mangalorean-Konkani affair, which was served on banana leaves.
For the Sindhi wedding, Tissot brand ambassador Deepika chose to glam up by her absolutely breath taking red lehenga with a dainty nathani and a jadau matha patti. The elaborated necklace was designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee and completed her look with stunning rings. Deepika’s traditional chuda and kaleere gave her the grand look every bride dreams for.
The lovely Star-Bollywood couple tied the nod with utter auspiciousness and made a promise to behold each other in happiness and sadness. Zimson watches and Tissot wishes the brand new wedded couple a lifetime of love, peace and joy.
